Besides being a respected performer, Odd André Elveland has developed a unique concept of teaching even small children musical improvisation based on advanced harmonic structures.

He has worked with great performers like Håvard Wiik, Ståle Storløkken, Mats Eilertsen, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Ole Morten Vågan, Jarle Vespestad, Håkon Mjåset Johansen and Thomas Strønen.

He is currently engaged in developing Improbasen, a nation wide resource centre, focusing on giving children in the age of 6-14 years a platform for developing various improvisation techniques.
